What Is the Cheque payment method?
A cheque (check in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand) is a piece of paper filled in by a bank cheque account holder like a form, granting one’s bank to honour the stipulated payee’s payment for the stipulated funds. It proved to be one of the most common forms of payment over the course of the 20th century.
Some countries have already abolished cheque payments in the new millennium (21st century), while others are phasing them out due to the advent of much more reliable and effective digital forms of payment.
