Commercial gaming revenue in the United States reached $43.43 billion in the first ten months of this year, almost tying the industry’s full-year record of $43.65 billion, and is 19.8% more than the same ten-month period last year.
According to the American Gaming Association, 2021 has officially eclipsed the aforementioned full-year revenue record, with a number of jurisdictions reporting November statistics.
In October, the combined income from traditional casino gaming, sports betting, and igaming totaled $4.75 billion, the second-largest monthly total and a 30.7 percent raise over the same month two years ago. Revenue increased by 4.8 percent from September to October.
After failing to exceed $4 billion in monthly commercial gaming revenue for eight months, the sector has now done so for the eighth time.
